Hermes Bot

A private AI assistant for a small research and analytics team.

Hermes Bot is a self-hosted assistant used internally by our team through Telegram. It helps with research, scheduling and drafting: summarising material, preparing documents, and reporting who on the team is available on a given day.

It is not a public product and is not offered for general sign-up. Access is limited to a small number of named team members.

Google account access

When a team member connects a Google account, the assistant can work with that account's data on their behalf. Depending on what is authorised, this may include:

• Gmail — reading, composing and sending messages
• Calendar — reading events and availability, creating and editing events
• Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides — reading and creating documents
• Tasks — reading and updating task lists
• Contacts — read-only, to resolve names to addresses

Access is granted by the account owner through Google's own consent screen and can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
